I always felt that Ron Paul may be a little too much to be our next president, but I did very much like his ‘grassroots’ campaign for the Rep. party and I think that he could still very much stir the waters in some shape or form. Found this today –> Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty , kind of cool.

well not really back in action but a new promise to add some interesting content on a somewhat regular basis. There are actually some posts which I archived for fear that they may scare away any potential clients. If you are visiting this looking for webwork, you are probably best served to go directly to my Portfolio section, granted it is due an update as well (I have in fact worked on may sites since 2006).
Thanks for visiting, now back to work for me.

Nothing against Moe’s, they took a great idea of the west coast burrito and made as generic and plain as possible, but with funny names for items and some decent tomatillo salsa, they warrant a visit every so often. No Juanita Greenberg’s by any extent at all though.
But back to my point, you don’t go to Moe’s on Cinco de Mayo. Moe’s comes from Atlanta USA, not Mexico. Moe’s doesn’t not really offer true mexican food, but a very american, aka generic, take one ingredients originating south of Texas. If you feel obligated to eat ‘Mehican’ on the 5th of May at least visit a restaurant owned and operated by folks that are of mexican heritage. If you are in Greenville SC, visit Rosalinda’s or at least Corona’s.
Witty me to hippy coworker at LaPaz in Asheville: ‘Muchas Garcias.’
Hippy coworker: ‘Your Jerry welcome’.

at least the back end functionality of adding posts, being that my resolution of the new year was to actually post more to this site. I have failed miserably. I hang my head in despair. Clearly I am not the blogger that I thought of myself as, for pete’s sake it has been Nov 2006 since my last post. Very lame, full of shame, nobody to blame, got no game.
Maybe one day I will have something to say worth using this.

eMusic.com is the most excellent site to purchase actual mp3s (no DRM or software required) at a very reasonable price. Many mainstream/radio-friendly artists are absent from this service, which is actually a good thing because it forces you to search and dig to discover some wonderful music. Fine examples:
Mouse on Mars
Lamb
Holy F*ck
Spank Rock
The Streets
Ms. John Soda
Also discovered a really nice streaming radio station DirtyRadio, which I am ashamed to mention that I did not know of before the other day. Catch the stream here.

If you think the worst thing Congress doesn’t
protect young people from is Mark Foley, wake up and smell the
burning planet. The ice caps are cracking, the coral reefs are
bleaching, and we’re losing two species an hour. The birds have
bird flu, the cows have mad cow, and our poisoned groundwater has
turned spinach into a side dish of mass destruction . . .

happy cinco de mayo. College + St. Patrick’s Day/Cinco de Mayo always spelled much trouble, fun times for sure though. Now days maybe the obligatory trip to the order-by-number mexican restaurant, aka sweet tea. Actually this year, I celebrated with my family dining on tasty fish tacos, which has possibly become one of my most favorite meals in the whole wide world.
Cinco de Mayo resolution, post more often.
